The trunk extender create added storage space. Push lower tongue into trunk lock. This closes locking extender into place. Pull rope from top of case and attach clip to trunk lid tongue. Rope will self retract. Guide lid down to required position. Push lock button to hold lid in position. Push the lock button when you are pulling the rope to secure the lock.
