Installation template & Instructions. *Voltage reducer is recommended on electric carts but not necessary* *Please be sure to make the correct battery wire connections as we will not accept returns due to improper wiring during installation* Incorrect wiring may cause excessive voltage resulting in blown bulbs We STRONGLY recommend all electric carts use our voltage reducers (See our other listings). This will guarantee that there is no damage from excessive voltage input to your light kits. 48v carts with 8v batteries must use a voltage reducer. 36v and 48v carts with 6v and 12v batteries can be wired in such a way they produce 12v. to the light kits but we do not suggest this. If wired wrong it will cause damage to your light kit that we can not warranty. This light kit will not work as a replacement for an existing factory installed light kit from Club Car. The hole cut outs for the factory lights are bigger then our lights and there for will not fit. This kit is for Club Car DS golf carts that do not have lights already installed.
